What do I do if my federal tax return was accepted but my bank returned to sender?

Apparently I or/my tax preparer added the check number to the end of my account number when E-filing. My bank(Chase) told me "We have no legal obligation to help you recover your tax return check, you need to call the IRS. I called the IRS(got automated service) and was informed that my return was accepted and was deposited on Feb.4th, 2011. I called my bank back and they were able to determine that they had returned my deposit back to the Treasury Dept on the 7th.(first off i dont understand how they didnt know whose return they had a first so they sent it back but now they can determine it was mine) Ive search everything on google and nothing seems to help me out. My bank refuses to give me any info, help or direction on how to fix thiss problem. So my question is how do I fix this the fastest way and how long is it gonna take now to get my money in hand?
