Where can I donate RES Turtles in the Los Angeles Area?

I have two RES Turtles that I inherited from another family. The female is huge and is biting the legs of the male. I have seperated them but the female really needs a pond. Anyone know who to call to find a home for these guys? Also, if I kept these turtles outside in a kiddie pool, I would have to keep the water heated, right? Our daytime temp is about 65deg right now. Thanks for any info or help!
