Do you agree with the Civil War mentality going on over the Big Three? (North v. South)?

... I read the article and was surprised at the mentality of the thing. ..to me, it sounds like the foreign car industry is behind the "divide and conquer " theory. They are it's "silent partner". Beware the so-called North and South way of thinking...it's bizarrely archaic and only serves to drop the anvil on those companies that have been wholly independent till now. If this happens, a major loss of freedom will occur for the American Auto Industry. If "all" can NOT be helped by the bailout, because it could not afford to rescue all, then merger is the only remaining solution "in conjunction with" a well thought and fair "American" bailout...not division in North and South disparity
