Are butch s generally a lot more understanding than men?

I don't know if it's just me, but all the men around me are jerks, and I live with one. My father. Don't get me wrong. He can be sweet, but those days have become fewer. And I think I may be leaning towards being . (because I still find some men attractive. *cough*Orlando Bloom*cough*, and this question has really been bugging me. Are butch s generally more understanding, caring, whatnot than most men?(I HATE labels, but it's the only way to get my point across.)
