Diesel vs. regular engines?

The 292 is a straight 6 which is a good engine and will run forever but it is not that powerful.If the diesel has high mileage and you have no service records you may be in for more expensive maintenance costs.Overall the diesel if in good working order will run better if you are carrying alot of cargo.If you have no concern for carrying heavy cargo and are driving local then the 292 is the way to go simply due to the cost of upkeep Chevy 292 parts are cheap and easy to work on Good luck!
