My cousin qualified for a job that doesn't require him to handle money or company credit cards. He has the experience, and scored highly on all four tests that were given. But as soon as they ran a credit check and saw that he's still paying on a number of college loans and owes $2,000 in credit card debt, he was denied the position. I feel the same way as he. How is a person supposed to rise out of their financial situation if they can't get a good paying job? I had braces when I was in high school and I had 4 teeth removed because my ortho said my mouth was too crowded. When I got my braces off three years later, everything was straight, but my upper teeth moved too inward, my upper lip appeared to cover up too much of my lower lip, and my lips were just much thinner. Now I'm reading about how teeth extraction is not preferred because the teeth support the lips. Anyone have more info about how teeth affect the facial structure? Similar experiences? I need some advice on hamsters.....?

Ok... so about 9 months ago I adopted a pet hamster from a local pet store. I had intended on making her my daughters' pet, but instead I ended up taking highly to the little creature. Last Tuesday, we came home to find her dying in her cage. I scooped her up, wrapped her in a little towel, and held her and cried hysterically for over an hour before proceeding on with our little funeral. So now my daughters and I have adopted another one (this time we adopted a young one so we'll have more time with him). My heart is still aching and I'm thinking of going back to the pet store and grabbing up another one. But my question here is would this be a smart move? I wouldn't mind taking care of more than one (they're so low maintenance and very sweet animals) but do they make better pets when they're the only one? I have tried asking the pet store clerk and she said it could be done but to make sure we keep them in separate cages to avoid fighting or unwanted babies. I just don't want to be pushed into this for the sake of a sale and I don't want to traumatize an animal by bringing it into my home only to decide later on it isn't working.

LEASING A CAR... INVOLVED IN A SCAM! HELP!?

I leased a 2007 infiniti g35 in 2007. my lease is up next month. the check engine light came on a few weeks ago, and I called the dealer so that I could drop it off because its under warranty. About a week before that I had had my oil changed. When they inspected the car they called me and said I had no oil in the car, and that when they went to put oil in it it started smoking and the nthe engine got ruined. I have my receipt from my oil change the week before, and they said they wanted the receipts to all the times i had to car maintainanced. I have all my inspection reports, and all my receipts from new tires, brakes, etc, but i dont have my old oil change receipts besides the most recent one. I had to call consumer affairs and get them involved. They are trying to make me liable for a new engine when the car goes back next month and I have maintained it for 3 years. There are a few other oils out there that have Zinc (Royal Purple is one) and also some additives (Lucas) but the Rotella seems to be the cheapest. Can Brick be placed over a porch?

I have a house I am building. The underneath of the porch is brick then there is the roofline then I want to place more brick over that. My contractor doesn't think this is possible unless there is major structural supports added. I don't know if he knows what he is talking about. Help choosing the best lizard for me?

Apparently I or/my tax preparer added the check number to the end of my account number when E-filing. My bank(Chase) told me "We have no legal obligation to help you recover your tax return check, you need to call the IRS. I called the IRS(got automated service) and was informed that my return was accepted and was deposited on Feb.4th, 2011. My mom wants me to miss work for her appointments?

My mother has been sick with stuff like shingles and the flu for 3 months now. She hasn't drove herself anywhere in this period of time. She has had 3 appointments in 3 months all on weekdays. I drove her to 2 of them and she was hoping I could take her this week to another appointment. Most employers aren't very tolerant of absences so I refused to take her this time and she may take something like access that transports people places. My mom feels like I should be able to take her. I would take her but I don't feel my employer wants me to keep giving the same excuse that I have to take my mom to an appointment. Would you feel obligated to take your mom to these appointments even though employers don't like frequent absenteeism?

Thoughts on Jay Cutler?

Jay Cutler sat out of the second half of today's NFC Championship Game because of an apparent knee injury. On the sidelines he appeared uninterested and didn't seem to be talking to and supporting Caleb Hanie when he was in. People started to question his toughness and his teammate Brian Urlacher defended him by saying "He's one of the toughest guys on our football team." I've read some stuff on websites about this and the comments people have been writing calling Cutler a and weak. Cutler probably took more sacks than probably any other QB this year and he didn't once complain about it while the people typing those comments probably haven't played a game of football or have had an injury in sports once in their lives. However I do question Cutler in two areas. First, I question his leadership. Like I said earlier, he appeared uninterested and unsupportive of his teammates in the biggest game in his career. I would also like to question his toughness. Even though he took a beating all season long and didn't complain, with a knee injury that doesn't seem to be that serious you should still go out and play in the NFC Championship Game. I think he just quit after his terrible play in the first half and the lead that the Packers had. I live in Illinois and am a HUGE Chicago sports fan. Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks and Cubs (even though the Cubs have mediocre seasons nowadays) are my teams. It is very painful to watch the Bears lose after making a little comeback in the 4th quarter only to have their fait sealed with an interception. If you are going for an edgy look I would say a little eye liner on the bottom part of your eye, but don't let it hang too far down or it would look weird. If you wanted to put on eye shadow I would say only put it up to where the crease of your eye is. And as for color I would say, if you wanted a lighter look, a light tan color or more of a light color so mix with white a lot. If you make your eye lid lighter it will make your eye stand out more so your eye brow wont look so close. Try to avoid dark eye shadow it will make your eye brow look closer to your eye.

hello i have a friend who had delusional halitosis/halitophobia . shes had this for about 6 years... she ask me as well as others if they have noticed her breath as far as having bad breath. ive known her all of my life and im uring you she does not she has perfect teeth and she visits the dentist regular if not alot. shes been to a doctors and every ones telling her its all in her head...so im putting this on here cause she wants to know if anyone else is suffering or having the same symptoms . her doctor told her she had maxillary and she thinks that causes her to have rotten smelling breath saying she has a clear post nasal drip in her mouth some of this i think is all in her head, (not the maxillary) but shes making up reasons as to whats causing the bad breath... she says it depends on what she eats that causes it to happen, if she eats CHILI it smells moldy.. if she had chicken it smells like feces , or a skunk.. shes afraid to exhale or eat foods that make it worse.. shes lost a ton of weight due to this and its getting worst she never goes places unless she has to and she talks with her had over her mouth.. please please help me she doesn't know that she has halitophobia but im researching online for her and no ones tells what there phobias consist of so im looking for answers to tell her shes not alone and how to help thia fear.. sry for it being so long

I am the stepmom of an 11 yeaqr old girl. My husband won custody of his daughter when the child was abt 5 months old. We have been married for almost 5 years together for 10. Lately we have had some behavior problems with daughter. She has been lying and stealing from us over a period of abt 6 months. My husband does work nights and a lot of hours so I am the one usually home with her. I should mention that the mother has been pretty inconsistent with her daughter. She would skip visitation, treat her differently than other siblings, making child feel guilty for not living wth her, talk bad abt my husband and I (especially me). The past few years the mother has been more consistent and we thought things were doing better. However her daughters bad behavior started and my husband and I have been struggling to deal with it and nothing works. We have tried grounding her, rewarding her, her, taking her things away...she's still behaving badly. So fast forward to now and daughter has all the sudden been telling us she wants to live with mother. That why she is acting up is because she wants to live there. And apparently her mother has told her she is filing for custody. So we are of course worried abt the possibility of her getting custody. We do not think the mothers house is the best place for her. I want to know how much chance does she have of winning?? The mother is trying to say that her behavior problems are our fault, that she should have her. The mother is saying I am mean to her and yell at her and she shouldn't be with us anyways because her father works al the time and the child shouldn't be raised by me. So please and opinions, advice, or input would be appreciated.
